First-in-human dosing of MYK-491, a cardiac myosin activator

A randomised, placebo-controlled Phase 1 study of MYK-491 (later known as danicamtiv) in healthy adult volunteers, sponsored by MyoKardia, Inc. and run at Nucleus Network, Melbourne. Cardiolab provided the trial’s echocardiography, including transthoracic echo screening and LVEF/LVFS measurement against the study’s eligibility and outcome criteria.

MyoKardia was subsequently acquired by Bristol Myers Squibb for US$13.1 billion in cash (announced October 2020).
